Well.. It's been some time since i'v posted on my blog!... Whats been happening? What have I been doing?!

Well been working my butt off at school... Trying to keep some good grades. Also i got a new job working at a sign store here in Wood River, and I really enjoy it!

So me and Erika just filled out some paper work for our first apartment! But we wont be moving out until Jun when we both move out. But we also are looking into getting another Shih Tzu puppy! His name will be Atlas! and he is just amazing! Ill be posting some pictures up before to long of him, our apartment and also some pictures of our trip to Houston TX last week. Stay tuned!

Well first off let me just say to everyone that attended the 100AW Rally in Salem MO this year, It was amazing. I'm very glad I was able to help out for my second year in a row, and I plan on being there next year! Ken Block won again this year making this his 5th year in a row for the 100AW rally. Wow been 10 days already YIKES! Lol well, as of right now, I'm still waiting on the cash for a new camera and try and get some photography stuff going, But on the up and up I am working on a flier design for a pal of mine who, with his friends, run a back yard wrestling deal so i offered to make them some stuff free of charge. I think it's a good idea to offer up stuff for free when your first starting out, because then people you are working for, almost always going to be small projects for friends or family, are more likely to want to use your talent. Besides, what's wrong with getting a nice little piece for your portfolio :) Well that's all I got for ya for now, Ill Update Ya later!

Waiting for the cash

So I'm waiting for the money to come in for me to get a new camera, and for anyone that doesn't know, I'm using a Kodak Easy share Super Zoom camera... Which is actually a Point and shoot camera. So, I feel that iv spent enought time with this camera getting to know how everything works (appature, shutter speed, ect..) and that it is time to update! I'm planning to buy a Olympus E-520 with some lenses and what not, but like I said it's just a matter of waiting for the money to be there, but I'm hoping that it will be very soon!

Also I'm still working on a priceing system for my photo's but im very close to getting done with this, so before to long you'll be able to buy prints, and also ill have a REAL web site up with in a few months and hopfully start taking some real pictures and get outside my comfort zone of flowers and dogs lol. Well today i was at the Girlfriends house and wile getting some pictures for a school project her older sister asked if I would be interested in taking pictures of her for when she Grad.s college. Well that got me thinking, and I realized I have NO pricing system what so ever in case this was to happen! Hey hey everyone! Hows it been? That's good! Well iv been busy with my first few weeks of school and getting back into a normal sleep pattern lol. I have to say I'm pretty excited about my dig. Photo class this semester, and the teacher is really cool also. Not to much going on right now, but I should be posting some new pictures up once we get some dang sun, I'm about done with this rain/snow/fog crap.

Anyway check out this new set of Photoshop brushes I made, got the idea from a book my graphic design teacher had today and i just had to try it out!

It's done by blowing acrylic paint on paper then scanning after it drys, and you end up with a pretty cool end result. Well that's all for now folks stick around and ill Update ya later!

So today was my second day of classes, yesterday I had my Graphic Design III and English. Today I had my Dig Photo Class, and I also Start on my Online class of Video game theory and design. So need less to say this is going to be a good semester!
Also our Photoshop/photography lab got new screens last semester, check this crap out! That's my blackberry in the center for size Ref.

Well It's my Girlfriends 21st birthday tomorrow so we are gonna party it up tonight, Update ya later!

So a little over a week ago I made and posted some Photoshop brushes onto my DeviantART Page, and from there they quickly got requested to be part of a new brushes group which needless to say I was overjoyed to see someone wanting something I had done. Now with over 200 downloads and 500+ views I figured id stick it up here.

Also im going to try and point this blog more towards my photography and designing. The first few months I just wanted to make sure I could maintain the want to post on here and I think iv done that quite well so far.

Well well school is starting back up in just a few days and I couldn't be more excited! This means i get to enjoy some of the great classes that Lewis and Clark Community College has to offer :D. This semester I'll be taking Video Game Theory and Design, Graphic Design III, Digital Photography, and English. So this should be a good few months :) so stay tuned and I will Update ya later! :)

Had a fun day yesterday as me and one of the writers went out to cover a story but ended up going for no reason since the event was canceled lol. So i had a pretty good Christmas this year :) Got some good cloths, Family guy season one and two, a new GFX Card for my computer and some gifts cards. The interesting part of the day was when i found out my grand parents had gotten in a accident on the way to our house! They hit some ice wile slowing down to avoid another car and spun out. They were both ok thankfully, and even better yet, they still made it here before they were supposed to haha. Hope everyone else had a good holiday, Update ya later!

Well Christmas eve and got me some socks and gift cards from my grandparents! Yay for warm feet lol. Also Erika was having a bad day from work so I let her open another gift early, and let her open her neckless I got her :)

Ugh more and more rain. Haven't really been able to get out and shoot anything. But the other day Erika decided we HAD to get a gift early lol so i gave her this little gift i put together from a shot of her and our puppy L.

Well me and my girlfriend Erika are watching her dads place for a the week. It's only been a day but it's pretty nice so far, just having the freedom of eating when ya want and sleeping when ya want lol. But it just makes me realize i cant wait to move out!! Well ill update later on this week!

So last night I decided I was going to take some head/face shots of my girlfriend. Wile doing so i realized that working with a person is pretty hard to do, you have to tell them what you want them to do with the face, what way to look, smile, or frown.. You really have to interact with them on a whole new level. I think I'll stick to nature photography for now :P
